Custom Tanks and Pressure Vessels:
During the last decade, Ross has grown to be one of the best-equipped and most highly respected custom fabricators in North America. Ross offers a combination of engineering and manufacturing resources that few fabricators can match.
- Ross builds polished vessels and reactors, pressure vessels and atmospheric tanks, columns and large diameter pipe to meet the special needs of many industries.
- State of the art production machinery and design facilities at each of our fabrication plants give us the control necessary to offer flexible service and air-tight quality assurance.
- Our fabrication plants are ASME code certified and can provide the ASME stamp when required. Our engineers, machinists and fabrication specialists routinely meet such code requirements as USFDA, BISC, ABS, API and UL as well as ASME.
- We regularly work with a broad range of materials, including carbon steel, 316 and 304 stainless steel, Monel, Hastelloy, Titanium, Inconel and aluminum.

Mixing System
Vertical Vessel
This stainless steel storage vessel has a capacity of 15,000 gallons. It includes dished heads and a bead blasted finish.
ASME Half Pipe Jacketed Vessel
We are an ASME code shop and have the ability to build custom vessels for vacuum and pressure operation with jackets such as the half-pipe design shown.

Custom Mixers/Reactors
These special mixers were constructed for a client in the chemical industry. They required vessels and mixers to meet their special needs for a new process to produce a proprietary additive.
Horizontal Storage Vessel
Large storage vessels are often built with dished heads and saddles. They can be provided with special manways and openings to meet individual needs.
Sanitary Mix Tanks
We manufacture a variety of sanitary mix tanks used throughout the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. These are available in many sizes and are normally custom built to meet the needs of each client.
Heating Coils
Coils inside a vessel are often added to maintain a product's temperature.
API Tanks
Vertical API tanks are a specialty of our company. These are normally manufactured in stainless or carbon steel and are available in any size to meet your needs.
Process Tank
Vertical process tank 8' x 8' and having a capacity of 3,700 gallons. Constructed of type 304 stainless steel to the ASME Code.
Storage Tanks
Vertical API tanks with side openings for clean-out or side entering agitators are available.

Deaeration Vessel
This stainless steel vessel is ideal for a variety of deaeration requirements. The vessel isconstructed of type 304 stainless steel, has a 600 gallon capacity with interior surfaces polished to a 120 grit finish.
Horizontal Storage Vessel
This vessel is used for undergroumd storage of hazardous materials. It has a 10,500 gallon Holding capacity and is constructed of carbon steel, finished with a high solids polyurethane enamel. The vessel is 10'6' diameter x 16' long.
Tank Farm
Complete tank farms are constructed for the storage of raw materials and finished product. This farm included storage vessels to over 70,000 gallons capacity.
Sanitary Mix Tank
This 1000 Liter Sanitary tank is constructed of type 316 stainless steel. It includes a 90 psig ASME code constructed and stamped dimpled jacket, fiberglas insulation with stainless steel sheathing and 180 grit interior/150 grit exterior finishes. A propellor agitator is also included.

Vertical Storage Tank
15'6" OD x 133' Straight Wall Vertical Tank on legs, includes a conical roof and bottom. The material of construction is 316L stainless steel except for the legs. Tank includes a 2" internal coil. The following nozzles are included: One (1) 18" – Roof Manway Two (2) 2" – 150# RFSO. One (1) DN 15 – With Dip Tube One (1) DN 25 Two (2) DN 50 Three (3) DN 80 One (1) DN 80 – With Dip Tube
Potable water booster pump
A Potable water booster pump was supplied as a retrofit to increase capacity and add water pressure control. The system included: - Pumps which alternate every 24 hours - Triplex Alternating Booster Pumps - VFD Speed Control - Automatic Water Pressure Control (achieved by changing the pump speeds) - Pressure set point easily modified by color touch screen - Complete safety bypass, redundancy and manual control

Stainless Steel Sanitary Vessels
Stainless Steel Sanitary Vessels are available in a variety of sizes and shapes. The vessels shown are all constructed in type 316 ss and are designed for vacuum operation. Each includes a variety of nozzles and a large manway for ingredient addition.
Portable Stainless Mix Vessel
Special 100 gallon capacity sanitary mix vessel constructed of type 316 stainless steel. This unit is mounted on a portable cart with a scale. Included is a tilt back air operated propeller agitator, vacuum design, a 100 psi jacket and a sanitary 180 grit finish.
Vertical Storage Tank
9' OD by 24' Straight Wall Vertical Tank includes conical roof and is constructed in type 304 stainless steel.
