Ross Introduces New Model VMC VersaMix
The new Ross VersaMix Model VMC is offered in change can sizes ranging from 1 to 200 gallons working capacity. Similar units are available up to 3000 gallons. The air/oil lift system of this model is totally sheathed and finished in either painted steel or stainless steel for use in sanitary environments. The lift system is operated utilizing convenient pushbutton controls mounted in the sheathing. Mixer controls are also often incorporated directly into this sheathing enclosure. The agitator bonnet and lift base include enclosed electrical wiring passages. This eliminates the need to run electrical conduit from the agitator bonnet to the lift base on the outside of the mixer. The result is an exterior design that is easy to clean and that provides a neat overall appearance. The VersaMix combines up to three separate agitation systems, a Three Wing Anchor , a High Speed Disperser and a High Shear Rotor-Stator Mixer. The mixer is ideal for manufacturing viscous dispersions and emulsions with viscosities up to 1,000,000 centipoise. Ross VersaMix units are stocked by the company for immediate shipment and in-plant trials prior to purchase.
