New Vacuum/Pressure Ribbon Blender
Charles Ross and Son Company has announced the availability of a new design for vacuum and pressure applications. The Blenders can constructed in materials of construction to suit the application for which it will be used. Special finishes up to a mirror finish are available for the exterior and interior surfaces. A variety of standard or special discharge valves may be located in the bottom center of the trough. Drives are designed to meet the bulk density of the materials to be blended. Ross manufactures these in a range of sizes from ½ through 515 cu.ft. working capacity. Ross blenders are supplied with several agitator design possibilities Standard options include sanitary stuffing boxes, jackets for heating or cooling, sanitary construction, covers to meet a clients production needs and torque controlling couplings for full load starting. Testing is available on a pilot plant five cu. ft. model installed in the Ross Test Center, units are also available for trial rental, in your own plant if this is more convenient.
