With decades of experience in design and fabrication, the company has grown to be one of the best-equipped and most competitive fabricators in North America with the capability to build vessel capacities as large as 100,000 gallons.
Shown is a horizontal hydropneumatic vessel made of ASTM A516 Grade 70 carbon steel recently built by Ross Engineering. The 15,000-gallon tank is designed, fabricated and stamped for 150 psig internal pressure in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 latest edition. Interior surfaces are blasted and lined for potable water storage. Lifting lugs, saddles, an elliptical manway and high pressure couplings are also supplied.
Aside from ASME, code requirements like USFDA, BISSC, ABS, API650, API620 and U142 can be met. Choosing from a broad range of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Monel, Hastelloy and Inconel, customers can specify a variety of features and services such as vacuum design, agitators and controls, heating/cooling jacket or coils, vents, overflow pipes, sheathing, insulation, passivation, electropolishing, special coatings, tank liners, non-destructive testing and many others.
