New Triple Shaft VersaMix Designed For Vacuum/Pressure Operation A new triple shaft Model VMC 100 Ross VersaMix was recently completed. This unique mixer is designed to provide maximum process flexibility to the user. The VersaMix is constructed using all type 316 stainless steel wetted parts, polished to a mirror finish.. The unit includes feature such as a self-contained high Shear Rotor Stator Mixer with solids induction capability, a High Speed Disperser with gas induction tubing, a Three Wing Anchor with TFE scrapers to clean the side walls of the vessel and gas purged shaft seals. The vessel is jacketed to heat or cool and the unit can operate to 15 psi internal pressure and 29-1/2 hg vacuum. Models are available from a one gallon bench top design to production sizes exceeding 750 gallons. Change can and fixed tank designs are offered.
